Who I Am, Why I Blog, Why I Sell Vintage
My husband tells a story of this girl he went to school with whose mother always was so out of style and wore old, outdated clothes. He says they all made fun of her mom. This being said, he states frequently that this is why I shouldn't wear vintage. I disagree in part with this statement. I say in part because I do believe that you can look outdated and out of style wearing vintage if you do not put some effort into wearing it and styling it with current trends and styles.
I have a lot of friends that are intrigued by vintage, but are too intimidated to wear it for fear of looking outdated. There is just that stigma around vintage with a lot of people. They are always asking for advice on how to wear it.
Now, that all being said, my goal is to have every girl be able to add vintage pieces to their wardrobe and feel comfortable and beautiful wearing them!
